All investments have some risk and all investments go up and down.  But the difference in today’s real estate is we buy 20% - 50% below the three to six month future market price. 

For example, if you own a home and it is worth $500,000 and the home next door went up for sale for $250,000, you would know that home is most likely a safe investment.

Another fact of real estate is that the prices move in six month cycles.  Meaning prices do not drop or go up significantly in one day, one week or one month like the stock market.  The Real Estate market moves along slower time lines.  This is important because, since we buy below market, we can sell quickly in the case of some economic downturn and still protect our company and our investment, as well as our investment partners. 

Lastly, no matter how good your investment is, you should be diversified across asset classes, of which real estate is one.  So say the experts of today’s investment world.  So said Solomon, one of the world’s wealthiest and wisest men, “Divide your investments among many places, for you do not know what risks might lie ahead” (Ecclesiastes 11:2).
